What are the tiny little round white/translucent bugs i found it the bathroom?
I picked up a slug to throw it outside and there were a heap of teeny tiny round pure white/translucent bugs scurrying around on it, no bigger than a grain of salt. They are not bed bugs or cockroach nymphs. We live in a really old house thats got cracks and holes everywhere and they are a worry to me as we have a baby and a five year old and im not sure if they are a health issue.
Slugs do harbour mites, the best-known being Riccardoella limacum. They are small and white, fitting your description very well. They are of considerable interest and biologists are studying them as a potential biological control of slugs where they are a problem for farmers and gardeners.
