Would my saddle be alright for hunter shows?
I have a big all- purpose saddle that is fairly bright in color, it is like a light brown/ orangish color, and I have a dark horse… It is a little too big for me too.. My knees don’t quite reach the knee rolls on it… Would it still be okay? Or will points be taken off?
You don’t want to give a judge a reason to peg you as unprepared or ill equipped. A too big saddle sets you apart and a judge can’t (or won’t) see past it. Borrow another saddle ’til you grow into the one you have.
