8 or 10 pound test line?
Well I am about out of line on my spinning rod and reel. I have been using 10 pound test line and have been catching bluegill, crappie, and would say medium sized bass so far this year. In my supply I have both 8 and 10 pound test line that I could use (my rod and reel can handle both). Which would you say is better? I have heard and read people say that the lighter the line the better, and that they get more hooks set with the lighter line. Is that true? Is there much of a difference between 8 and 10 pound test line?
