I’m going to dye my hair bown/black, and was wondering what the best natural healthy hair dye there was.
I’ve dyed my hair brown black before, and my mom mentioned to me that dyeing your hair darker can cause cancer over the years
But, I’m pretty sure in todays world anything can cause cancer.

Your mum is mistaken, it’s nonsense. The chemicals in black dyes are no different to any dark tints, and as you rightly say they claim everything to be the cause of cancer these days, from drinking out of plastic bottles to talking on phones to eating meat!. I use Garnier natural black and it’s very good indeed, leaves a nice rich dark colour but not a blue indigo black.
