what is it!! a grub or larva, about 1 inch long, 100′s coming out of grass early am, and after rain. HELP!
This “worm” appeared about 3 weeks ago, and each week there are more of them. They almost look like a worm that has been CUT in half, one end is flat well the other is more pointed. We thought they might be european crane fly larva, but these are an inch long? if you know what they are, how do i get rid of them ? I am beginning to feel like I am in a Horror movie!!
They are grubs and they are larva. Japanese Beetle larva. Use a store bought grub control or make an inexpensive tobacco tea. I use it and it works great. It is non-toxic to humans and pets, but kills insects perfectly. E-mail me if you want the recipe.
