Fly Cdc
Flying international with a 16 month old and “Swine” Flu threat?

I and my baby are scheduled to be traveling from NY to Turkey soon. My baby is 16 months old. How safe is it to fly? I am not as concerned for myself but the baby. Recently a few cases of the swine flu were detected on board at Turkish Airlines from US to Turkey. Should I cancel my flight? Does anybody know about the air circulation systems of the planes? Maybe a flight attendant or a pilot or a doctor? I am kind of worried since they say you can get the virus from air if someone sneezes or coughs. I appreciate any helpful answers…Thanks for your time…
PS: http://www.cdc.gov/h1n1flu/update.htm indicates 22,000 cases and 87 deaths last friday

The truth is that an uncovered sneeze or cough can go up to 25 feet away from the person that doesn’t cover their mouth. On that you are right to worry. The swine flu is going to hit who and where any flu does. Since there is no way to determine this in advance then the decision is up to you. Think about whether you would fly with your child during any flu season and the results will be the same. On an airplane you are somewhat more confined and do take more of a chance of sitting near that person that fails to cover their mouth and nose. The air you breathe is all in a compression like space that gets filtered and then returned. The quality is the same as if you were on the ground. You are the only one that can make this decision, but if it were me I would just take the plane. There is always going to be some illness that can be found on a plane or in any country depending on the time of year. Good luck and God Bless

Canadian thrush Celine Dion is primarily a singles artist, which is a good thing, because the soaring, epic style she brings to nearly all of her material is thrilling in four-minute bursts, but nearly overwhelming at album length. Falling into You is Dion’s finest attempt to temper that approach–mixing low-key love songs and dance pop between showstoppers such as “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now”…

During the spring, fish are looking up for caddis and beatis that are either emerging or on the surface and looking down for Pale Morning Dun Mayfly or Tailwater Dun nymphs that are starting to move around on the bottom, becoming active as water temps rise.
