Correct right hand position when playing guitar??
when i play my right hand is always floating on top of the strings (except maybe when i tremolo pick) i hold the pick with my thumb and index fingers and the rest of my fingers are loosley tucked in my palm. this is how i have always played. however, after watching many more people play (including pros) i notice that there middle, ring, and pinky fingers are all loosley hanging and sometines i even see some guitarist using their pinky and sometimes more fingers to brace there hand.
i have tried to play like this but its very uncomforatble and i just cant play right.
does this matter??? or is it all preference or comfort??
im still a beginner/intermediate player so should i change my hand postion?
it doesn’t really matter how your fingers are positioned….
just play how u like
