How do i get my budiges active?
Yes well my budgies are now into the whole feather plucking routine and im getting comments on keeping them active and they might get over it. How exactly should i keep them active? I have 1year & 1/2 ( Edward) and a 5 month (sky) . Edward is totally afraid of anything in his cage that swings. and Sky enjoys pulling at strings and toys . I dont know any other way to keep them active. When they are out of their cage they dont fly around unless i take the cage away , even so they will just sit on the carpet , tiles, and wait.
Budgies usually love to climb and tricks, so maybe put in a ladder and some toys. And just to let you know, most birds are at first scared of new toys. Just leave them in for a while and they will get used to it.
One of my budgies favorite toy in her cage is a mirror with a bell. Every bird loves mirrors! Bells are also fun for them to play with. Good Luck!
