I need to fix my college list! help?
Okay I’m applying to so many suny schools and I want to lower my list to 6. HELP!
Geneseo
Binghamton
Albany
Brockport
Oneonta
Cortland
University at Buffalo
Stony Brook
New Paltz
It depends upon your grades and your interest. The four university centers–Binghampton, Albany, Stony Brook and U at Buffalo are the most prestigious, and are the hardest to get into. Of the remaining schools, I’d say that New Paltz probably has the best reputation.
All other things being equal, and with good grades and no preference as to location, I’d say:
Albany
Binghampton
Stony Brook
U. at Buffalo
New Paltz
Cortland
With Cortland being your “safety school”. If your grades aren’t so great, I’d focus on Geneseo, Brockport, Oneonta, Cortland, and New Paltz, with many one of the university centers, such as Albany.
