You know you want to help me decorate?
I’m 15 and I’m struggling with redecorating my room. I don’t have anything to start with except a black vanity, so I’m completely starting from scratch. Here’s my idea;
White bedspread with black and red pillows and a black chenille throw at the end of the bed, with white drapes around the bed. The wall behind the bed will be painted red, and the wall opposite that on the other side of the room will be white with a large painting of red lips on it. All other walls will be white. I will also get a few black and white photos/ posters for the walls, and possibly a black high heel shoe chair with zebra print accents. My vanity will also be in there, as well as some plants and possibly a black bedside table with flowers and incense.
This all isn’t for sure, just an idea.
Any suggestions/ critiques/ ideas?

This sounds great to me.
It might be that with this exuberance you’ll tire of it sooner, especially from age 15 forward to 16, 17 and on, because life at 15 forward is fraught with perceived urgency caused by hormonal onrushes.
It might be that you’re a born grahic or interior designer just chomping at the bit to make your living expressing yourself.
It might be that if you chose different colors, you’d be aiding the years you’re about to spend in that room, calming yourself for study, ambition and career choices.
The black vanity is a great start too for yellow/white, pink/white, khaki/white, or a night sky theme of stars and moon.
If you’re completely convinced this red/white/black theme is what you’re in love with, vary the shades of red in each of the lips on that wall, all the way down to pinks.
