My screen has suddenly become much smaller with a very thick black frame. How do I change it back to full size?
I have tried restarting the computer.
When I right click on my desktop, I don’t get the option of ‘properties’.
Assuming you have a Windows computer:
If you have Vista, it will be right-click on the desktop and select ‘Personalize…’
Then click on ‘Display Properties’. This will open a new window. Click on the monitor tab and adjust the slider for your resolution to a higher resolution. Then hit Ok.
Or with Windows XP, go to the Control Panel and double-click on the ‘Display Properties’ icon and then follow from the instructions above.
You may have to “stretch” the image on the monitor itself. If the resolution hasn’t been adjusted, you can access the monitor menus through the buttons on your monitor and adjust the horizontal and vertical size of the image. Increase these until the image stretches to the edges.
