Is there any way to work out your arms without working out you shoulders?
A friend of mine was an avid swimmer for 12 years (fly was her specialty), needless to say her shoulders are fairly broad. Now that her participation in the sport has died down, she wants to work on toning her arms, but lessening the broadness of her shoulders. Is there any way to do this?
yes but first of all you want a balanced body and musclular physique. By neglecting certain muscles your body will be inbalanced and you will not only walk funny but will be weak in doing simple excersises.
She should be proud of her big shoulders and use them to her advantage. I dont recomend neglecting one area. It will look funny becasue you will alosy hard muscle in one area and soft muscle in another.
tell her to do push ups and pull ups and jog.
Another thing is that the shoulders are where the rotator cuffs are.
Weak shoulders and strong arms makes a rotator injury .
